On behalf of the 2023 NELC Annual Conference Planning Committee, we are excited to welcome you to the first in-person NELC Annual Conference in four years! We are thrilled to be able to reconnect our NELC family in Washington, D.C. at the gorgeous Marriott Marquis. Read the welcome from our conference co-chairs.
Today’s Agenda
The conference will start today at 1:00 pm with the Opening Plenary, immediately followed by the Employment Law Update at 1:15pm.
The NELC Registration Desk is located on Meeting Level 3 (M3) at the bottom of the escalators and will open at 12 pm. If you have not done so already, please check-in here first and collect your name badge.
Conference sessions will take place on Meeting Level 4 (M4).

Conference Welcome Reception – 5PM Today
The 2023 Welcome Reception will be held off-site at ArentFox Schiff LLP, from 5pm – 7pm. Our final regular session ends today at 4pm, allowing you an hour to make your way to the reception. Demand for rideshare and taxi services will pick up as we get closer to 5pm, so headout soon after the session.

Hospitality Suite (Room 2-038, 2nd Floor)
Located on the 2nd floor above the hotel lobby, the NELC Hospitality Suite is available to you any time during the conference when you need to step away for a phone call, send an email, have a chat, or simply take a quick break. The Hospitality Suite door may at times be closed and locked but is still available. One of our conference volunteers or staff members will let you in during these times.
