Welcome to the
NELC 28th Annual Conference
NELC 28th Annual Conference
Dear Conference Attendees,
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the National Employment Law Council (NELC) 28th Annual Conference. As a proud sponsor of the premier organization for management-side labor & employment attorneys, Littler is honored to be part of an event that celebrates the accomplishments and careers of labor & employment attorneys of color and creates a space for thought-provoking discussions and meaningful relationships to happen.
The NELC has long been a champion for inclusion, equity, and diversity in the legal profession. Littler not only shares those values, but recognizes the importance of those values to our clients. We believe that a diverse workforce that prioritizes inclusivity is not only of benefit to all of us, but also enhances our ability to serve our clients and our communities. That is only part of the reason that we support the work that the NELC does to provide attorneys of color resources needed for success. The communication, advancement, mentoring, relationship building, and education opportunities that the NELC focuses on are all cornerstones of creating positive change in the legal profession.
Throughout the next few days, you will have the opportunity to meet with and listen to thought leaders and influencers in the labor & employment space. It is our hope that you not only take advantage of the knowledge that everyone at the conference has to share, but also take some time to reflect on how far the NELC has come since its founding days in 1995. We are excited to see the range of workshops and discussions that the NELC has planned for this year’s conference. We encourage all attendees to fully engage in these opportunities to learn about industry trends and innovations. This conference will be an invaluable experience for all in attendance.
Once again, we are honored to be a sponsor of the NELC and to support its mission of promoting the careers of labor and employment attorneys of color. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the organization and to working together to create a more equitable and inclusive legal profession.
Sincerely,
Yvette Gatling
